The team discovered an abandoned site which had stalled due to the previous developer infringing covenants. We took on the project and secured resolutions to the outstanding covenant issues with some design and development changes, resulting in the demolition of the previously started building and construction of 2 new build town houses with dramatic panoramic views over the wondrous Salcombe estuary.
Planning was gained to maximise the use of space on site, providing some outside living/dining space but respecting surrounding neighbours’ views and aspect. Parking which is often short in this location and a garage were essential, as homeowners often have visitors and boats to accommodate.
Early on these new homes were identified as likely holiday/2nd homes and the layouts were tailored to suit this likely use, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and open plan communal living space enabling enjoyment of views.
