We have a scheme of 19 new homes approved on a field to the rear of homes, within the main village, but outside the development boundary. Initially recommended to approve by the Council Planners, the committee overturned the Officers advice and refused the scheme, leaving us to obtain a consent via the Planning Inspectorate
In order to secure consent there were a number of significant challenges to overcome, not least a new access into the site which needed careful engineering and safety auditing, along with drainage issues and landscaping setting sensitivities.
The landowners will now see a significant enhanced value for what is currently unproductive land.
